Classic metal Citadel
I originally bought the set back in the mid 80s: DL2 – Aly Morrison’s Hobgoblin Warriors.
Have really only just got around to painting them, and intermittently at that!
Anyway, I dragged out the MM (AD&D Monster Manual 4th Edition, August, 1979) to find out more about hobgoblins and it said
“Description: The hairy hides of hobgoblins range from dark reddish-brown to gray black. Their faces are bright red-orange to red. Large males will have blue-red noses. Eyes are either yellowish or dark brown. Teeth are yellowed white to dirty yellow. Hobgoblins favor bright, bloody colors and black leather. They keep weapons well polished. Hobgoblins live for 60 years.”

Also looked at a nicely painted up complete set on ‘The Stuff of Legends’ website.
Hoping to achieve something similar with the ones I have…
